Little Flower begins Middle State Process
Little Flower Catholic High School for Girls is in the process of self-evaluation under the guidance of the Middle States Association of Colleges and Schools.Little Flower Catholic High School for Girls is in the process of self-evaluation under the guidance of the Middle States Association of Colleges and Schools. Every aspect of the Little Flower experience is under review. The school will follow the Accreditation for Growth (AFG) protocol.
The AFG protocol focuses on student performance by using strategic planning as a vehicle for school improvement and growth in student performance. In choosing the AFG protocol, the school makes these commitments: focus on student performance and growth; accountability in student performance; long-term strategic action plans that integrate program, services, facilities, and other support systems to address needs; commitment to continuous improvement; and involvement of all stakeholders.
The Middle States 5-member team will visit Little Flower on March 9, 10, 11, and 12, 2010. Stakeholders are invited to make comments to the Middle States Commission.
The comments must be directly related to the school’s ability to meet the Standards for Accreditation. All comments must be submitted in writing to the Executive Director, Commission on Secondary Schools. Comments must be received no later than 30 days prior to the first day of the evaluation visit.
