Wanda Thomas: President: A member of Little Flowers Class of 1992. She believes in the mission of LFHS. During the 2021-22 school year, she was HSA President for Immaculate Heart of Mary School. Ms. Thomas lead the Board and a small but mighty team of parents in the planning and implementation of all school fundraising events, the most important being the Christmas Bazaar. Prior to that, she held the role of IHM's Director of Parent Engagement which afforded her the opportunity to meet prospective parents during open house events. Outside of her volunteer commitments with my kids school, Ms. Thomas worked for a local nonprofit under the Director of Advancement where her skills and talents were used to help with community and social media outreach, fundraising.
Sean Yost: Vice President: Born and raised in Frankford and attended North Catholic (95), Mr. Yost currently lives in Mayfair with his wife Kristyn (LF 95), son Connor (FJ 23), and daughter Jordyn (LF 27). Catholic education is an important part of his life, and Mr. Yost is excited to watch his daughter grow here at Little Flower. Mr. Yost would like to bring forth new ideas as well as continue the traditions that Little Flower has had for many years. He wants to work on getting more parents involved, because he wants all LF daughters to have all the experiences they should have throughout high school. He is willing to put in the time needed and do whatever it takes so that Little Flower continues to grow for the years to come.
Sherice Sargent: Secretary: When Ms. Sargent's daughter enrolled, it continued a family legacy as she followed the footsteps of her aunt, her younger sister (LFCHS alumnae c/o 2018). Ms. Sargent was a student of Saint Basil Academy while her other sister attended Bishop McDevitt High School. Her family has long standing values and commitment to catholic education. Ms. Sargent's goal as the Secretary will be to work alongside fellow HSA Board members; foster unity through timely and informative communication; and work to achieve a community spirit among all families, administration and students. While her daughter and son were in Middle School and High School, she served as the HSA President, Treasurer and the Chairs of Parent Volunteer and Diversity committees. Ms. Sargent worked to establish fundraising and donor support for their schools, created parent sponsored programs for teachers and staff; and organized student activities to boost school culture/spirit. Also, she partnered with community agencies to advocate for increased school safety. Outside of motherhood, Ms. Sargent works as a HR professional for a local organization and teaches part-time as an adjunct faculty to support adult learners. She is an avid book reader and loves to dance. It would be an honor to be considered for the Corresponding Secretary to ensure communication and collaboration are an active part of the HSA. She enjoys connecting with others, sharing ideas, and rarely let an email or text go by without a follow-up or response.
Nicole Graf: Treasurer: Ms. Graf is a mother of three children, 14, 13, and 5. Her 14-year-old daughter, Kayleigh McCue, is a freshman at Little Flower. Ms. Graf is a nurse manager of the operating room at Jefferson Northeast Hospital, overseeing 90 employees. She enjoys doing crafts, party planning and spending time with her family. As a manager of many employees, Ms. Graf is very organized and detail oriented; she is consistent and will delegate efficiently. In addition, working in management, she has a keen understanding of company budget and finances. Ms. Graf is committed to making a positive change for our girls. She attended Little Flower for 2 years and it holds a special place in my heart. Many of her friends and family are part of the sisterhood. She will ensure the best possible experience for Kayleigh and her sisters. Ms. Graf has a strong work ethic, and has many exceptional attributes which will make her a wonderful Treasurer.
Ms. Clark: Director for Parental Engagement: Ms. Clark is a mother of six children. Three of her daughters currently attend Little Flower: Mia Clark, Veronica Clark and Isabella Clark. She was recently the first President of the HSA from 2021-2023 at St. Peter the Apostle School. During that time, she organized events for the kids to enjoy, helped faculty with their classroom needs, honored the teachers on their birthdays and of course during teacher appreciation week. Ms. Clark volunteered at the school once a week, and is currently a board member on the Northern Liberties Neighborhood Association since 2020. Helping is just her thing, and she fully understands that a school staff needs help, so that they can concentrate on educating our children. Ms. Clark looks forward to helping Little Flower Catholic High School for Girls!
