Kathleen Thérèse Radebaugh is the Principal at Little Flower Catholic High School for Girls. Prior to this position, Ms. Radebaugh was the Assistant Principal for Academic Affairs for two years. Before Little Flower, Ms. Radebaugh was the School Based Teacher Leader for four years in the School District of Philadelphia. For 12 years, Ms. Radebaugh taught a range of Humanities courses at the middle school and high school level in West Philadelphia and Port Richmond. Ms. Radebaugh holds a Masters of Education with Reading Specialist Certification from Cabrini University and a Principal Certification from Temple University.
As Assistant Principal for Academic Affairs, Ms. Radebaugh will collaborate with the community at Little Flower to educate the heart, mind, and soul of our scholars with focal academic standards and new cognitive approaches. Our esteemed staff of educators will challenge our young women with learning competencies needed to excel in college and the 21st century job market. Saint Thérèse of Lisieux once said, “I soon found, however, that the more one advances, the further off one sees the goal to be.” Ms. Radebaugh will encourage our young female scholars to seek beyond what is known and easily obtainable.
Ms. Radebaugh graduated from Mercy High School, a private and independent Catholic high school for young women in Baltimore. She was a three-letter athlete and co-editor of the high school newspaper, The Shield. Mercy High School instilled in her a strong sense of self and fervor for new adventures. In 2008, Ms. Radebaugh graduated from Saint Joseph’s University with a degree in English and minor in secondary education for teaching certification. For all four years, she competed as a Division I athlete on the Women’s Rowing Team and still loves the Schuylkill. On Hawk Hill, she wrote and edited for the sport’s section of The Hawk, featuring women’s sports on campus and within Philadelphia. Ms. Radebaugh will share her experiences competing in sports and as a journalist with the students at Little Flower.
Ms. Radebaugh and her husband Ethan live in East Mount Airy. They enjoy playing golf, going to the shore, and reading novels and current events publications.
