Ms. Kia Benjamin is the Director of Admissions at Little Flower Catholic High School for Girls. Ms. Benjamin attended Strawberry Mansion High School. After graduation, she enlisted in the Pennsylvania Army National Guard where she served four years as a Logistics Specialist. Prior to joining the Little Flower community in 2019, Ms. Benjamin worked with young adults with Intellectual Disabilities for 10 years as a Vocational Evaluator, assessing individual vocational aptitudes, interests and skills implementing individual goals to assist students to obtain appropriate educational training and work experiences, as well as related counseling.
As Director of Admissions and Enrollment Management, Ms. Benjamin works alongside the administration, faculty and staff, and strives to promote Little Flower’s curriculum programs, culture and community while establishing relationships with both existing and prospective families. Ms. Benjamin’s personal mission, aligning with that of St. Thérèse’s 'Little Way': “I felt that Little Flower was where I was meant to be from the moment I walked through the Brass doors”. Aiding in the empowerment of young women has been a lifelong passion project for Ms. Benjamin. She firmly believes in a holistic learning environment encompassing spiritual, intellectually, psychological, social and emotional growth.
Ms. Benjamin holds a Bachelor of Science Degree in Behavioral Health & Psychology from Alvernia University, focusing on Child and Adolescent Welfare. She is a mother of one daughter, who currently attends Little Flower.
