Daily Mass at 7:20 AM in the Chapel
Mass is celebrated each weekday in the Chapel. Students are most welcome to join us as we begin our day centered around the Word of God and the Grace of the Eucharist.
Daily Prayer during homeroom and at the end of the day - Prayer is essential to our academic, moral, emotional, and spiritual development. When prayer is being offered everyone will stand in silence in respect for these sacred moments of grace. If you are in the hallways when prayer is offered students must stand and remain where you are in reverent silence until the conclusion of the prayer and the Pledge of Allegiance.
Morning Prayer is offered for the school community at 8:00 each morning. These prayers unite us as a community as an acknowledgment for God to strengthen us and sustain us through the day. We bookend our week with prayers to our Patron - Saint Therese of Lisieux. Our week begins with the Novena Rose Prayer, and on Friday we pray the Daily Offering.
St. Francis’ Peace Prayer is prayed at the beginning of 8th period:
Lord, make me an instrument of your peace; Where there is hatred let me sow love; where there is injury, pardon; where there is doubt, faith; where there is despair, hope; where there is darkness, light; and where there is sadness, joy. O Divine Master, grant that I may not so much seek to be consoled, as to console; to be understood, as to understand; to be loved as to love. For it is in giving that we receive; it is in pardoning that we are pardoned; and it is in dying that we are born to eternal life. Amen.
Lunchtime Liturgies in the Chapel at the beginning of each lunch period
These are moments to gather in prayer in Chapel at the beginning of your lunch period. The liturgy includes an opportunity to offer your needs to God, to listen to the daily reading from Sacred Scripture, and to receive the nourishing strength of the Eucharist. The liturgy begins shortly after the bell rings to begin the period and lasts for about five minutes.
