Ann graduated Little Flower Catholic High School for Girls in 1954 and proudly supported it throughout her life, being granted Perpetual Membership in the Society of the Little Flower for her efforts in keeping the school operational.
In 1958, she married James Joseph Walker, and they enjoyed 67 years by each other’s side. In 1974 Jim’s work with Warner Brothers brought the family to Northridge, California, from Philadelphia. Ann, having lost her father at a young age and being an only child, refused to move unless her mother was included in the journey. What a blessing it was to have her mother with her helping with her three sons.
Ann was a member of Our Lady of Lourdes in California and served in numerous capacities throughout the years as Women’s Council President, lecturer, and parish office staff, and her family said her faith and devotion to the Catholic Church was unwavering.
She was known as a strong and confident woman who was a loyal friend to many, an amazing mother and grandmother of seven.
